Pits and marks
What the countdowns aim at. The race mile is the number that matters — the pin follows it. Changes reach a board on its next reload.

The organiser's published GPX. Waypoints named Pit 1, Pit 2 become pits automatically; waypoints named with a plain number (1, 2, 3) become official mile markers, so the board's race miles match the ones on the course chart. Everything is read on this computer — nothing is saved until you press Save.
